How to use your own logo as a virtual background

Most video chat apps have a built-in option to select a custom background in your video calls. This is a great way of hiding your messy living room and replace it with a clean background. Often you can choose a solid color, a fancy office or even a tropical island.

Tip: when you preview your video stream and have the mirror option selected, you'll see your logo background mirrored as well. Instructions for Zoom

Using your own logo as a virtual background in Zoom is easy. Just follow these 3 steps:

1. On the desktop app, navigate to Preferences in the Settings menu. On the left side menu, go to Background & Filters.

2. You will see Virtual Backgrounds, where you can upload your own image by clicking the plus (+) icon.

3. Choose the file logo-horizontal.png from your Professional Logo Package and off you go!

Instructions for Skype

Using your own logo as a virtual background in Skype is easy. Just follow these 3 steps:

1. On the desktop app, navigate to Audio & Video in the Settings menu.

2. Under Choose Background Effect, click on the 3 dots (…) icon, where you can upload your own image by clicking the plus (+) icon.

3. Choose the file logo-horizontal.png from your Professional Logo Package and show your logo to your audience!

Instructions for Microsoft Teams

Using your own logo as a virtual background in Microsoft Teams is easy. Just follow these 3 steps:

1. On the desktop app, start a video call.

2. On the meeting toolbar, click on the 3 dots (…) icon and select Background Effects, where you can upload your own background image.

3. Choose the file logo-horizontal.png from your Professional Logo Package and impress your meeting with your own company background!
